| A single nitefinder with four darts. If I need more than 4, I'm doing it wrong. |

two modded melees, originally buzzbees. Dual-wielded, naturally. If I'm running through a high-traffic area, I tend to put one sword away and keep a hand on my blaster, instead. Blaster being a completely modded Mav. _________________

Big Red, my custom melee. Incidentally, what with the whole being infected now, I will no longer be needing it for scenarios, so PM me if you're interested in a sturdy melee friendly device. It's served me well in HvZ and years of foam-sword fights back in high school- I'm sure it'll serve others just as well.

I'll be using them at today's scenario so you can get a good look then if you want. It pretty much looks just like the picture though.
I tried to do a write up of how to make a nitemav while making my second one, but my camera ran out of memory and it would be way to hard to explain without pictures.
The picture that I linked was what inspired me to build them. Believe you me, with only a hand drawn picture and someone saying "this might work" as a guide, the mod was f'ing hard.
I'll tell you what though, I'm going to make a third one when the clear N-strike series comes out and I'll make a write up for it then and post it in the modification section of this here site first. Unfortunately that won't be until after this season of HvZ, but it should be before the next one! _________________ If there is a choice between staying in a group or going "lone cowboy" guess which one I'll be doing. |

| I found the best way is to chase after them when you see then then they turn their backs on you and they are a easy target |

My entire arsenal consists of one maverick, holstered in the drink pouch of my messenger bag. One hand on the handle at all times, ready to quick-draw if one gets a drop on me.
Strategy- entirely defensive, sneaky. Always make sure you're loaded, cocked, and unjammed at all times. Never be completely off guard, and always listen. Hearing running behind me has saved my ass several times already. More than one, run. Only one? Get rid of him and get away before he calls more over. Never fight fair, trick them or sneak by them or find an alternate exit if you are trapped. That's it, it's kept me alive.
RULE #1 really is cardio!!! |

Run my ass off.
The few times I've had to make any real engagement, I've been alone or served as bait so my... slower friends can escape.
Always shoot when you know you can hit, when they are too off balance to change direction, or when they least expect it.
Move. Move a lot. Always check your exits, running off campus will get you out of play if necessary, albeit a little tough/unsportsmanlike.
I use a single maverick, modded with a drop-out magazine for a quick change. I didn't think I'd ever have to use that feature, but that was proven wrong already. The ratchet system and spring are also modded so it won't jam/shoots further.
I carry a melee when I have one, although my sword was just... decommissioned... by an unknown ass-hole.
Keep running, and don't be afraid to fight. The zeds worry about your darts as much as you worry about them, if not more. _________________ Still Alive |

I understand the underlying problem with Flash that requires the constructor to be called in order to figure out its arguments.
However, what I dont understand now is why should the framework want to even do that when there is a factory-method specified. Is it to support autowiring of the constructor arguments? |
